Budget Airline Ryanair has announced plans for several new routes at both Bari Airport and Brindisi Airport. This will mean that the low cost carrier now has thirty six bases in total at European locations.

The airport figures for July have just been released in Italy with Bergamo Airport and Bologna showing substantial traffic increases. The numbers at Bologna were up by over fourteen percent while Bergamo numbers were up by almost seventeen percent. Airport traffic overall in July was down by one percent.
