Olbia International Airport can be found eleven kilometres from Olbia City. It is a busy airport with a multitude of domestic and international flights.
The town has grown rapidly over the years with thanks in no small part to having a large airport on its doorstep. Olbia is an excellent city to discover on foot with plenty of bars and restaurants located on its slender streets.
Sights in the city well worth a look include the cathedral which can be found in the old town. There are also old shipwrecks from as far back as the fifth century which can be visited.
There is a bus service which runs from the airport into the city every fifteen minutes between the hours of seven thirty am and seven fifteen pm. There is also a taxi service which will cost around fifteen euro for a city trip.
