Foggia Airport or Gino Lisa Airport dates back to pre Second World War times. It was used during the war as a training school for pilots. Nowadays it mainly caters for domestic flights to locations such as Bergamo, Bologna, Rome Leonardo Da Vinci, Milan Malpensa, Palermo and Turin.
